Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Sentinel QA&C (the "Service"), provided by Carla Hernandez ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. You confirm you are of legal age and, if subscribing on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

The Service

Sentinel QA&C provides plain-language summaries of publicly available quality, food safety standards, regulations and guidance, plus fillable and printable quality department form templates and cloud storage for the records you create. The Service is a compliance-support, reference and documentation tool. It is not legal, regulatory, certification or auditing advice, it does not guarantee compliance or any audit or inspection outcome, and it does not replace the current published text of any standard or regulation, or the judgement of a qualified quality or food safety professional. You are responsible for verifying requirements against the official source before making a compliance decision. Licence and restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your subscribed plan for your own internal business purposes. You may print and use completed forms in your operation. You may not resell or redistribute the Service or its content as a competing product, reverse engineer it, or circumvent technical or plan limits.

Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service, its software, form templates, written summaries and branding. Standards and regulatory text referenced in the Service remains the property of its respective owners; we link to each official source and do not reproduce copyrighted standard text. You retain ownership of the data you enter, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe intellectual property, or to interfere with its security (including malware, probing, or scraping). You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account, and for providing accurate account information.

Payment, subscriptions and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing frequency, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until cancelled. Service level and warranties

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we exclude indirect, consequential or special damages including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may cancel at any time. On termination, you may export your records during a 30-day window, after which they may be deleted.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Carla Hernandez is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the revised version here.
